PTF News Christmas 2015

PTF News

Thank you to all who came to the last PTF meeting of 2015.  We had a fantastic turnout which made the service project of organizing the uniform closet go so well.  The PTF purchased 2 new clothing racks and lots of plastic hangers to hang as much of the uniforms as we can.  We’ve sorted and labeled all the boys pants and have them neatly organized in 2 different containers with gray in one and navy in the other!  We have a laundry basket in the closet labeled with donated clothes.  If you have something to donate that your child no longer fits into, you can drop it off in that basket anytime you wish.  We will check it periodically and put it away in its proper place.  Please know that this closet is available to you any time throughout the year.  The school tries to host a uniform exchange at least twice during the school year, where it will be displayed in the front foyer for your convenience.

With that said, PTF will be hosting a uniform exchange next week before Christmas break.  The donate basket will be out starting Tuesday, and the closet will be out all day Thursday December 17th and Friday morning on December 18th.  Come check out what is available to you before heading to Parker Uniform to take advantage of their sale during the month on December.

With this semester coming to a close your PTF is busy working on activities for the 2nd half of the school year.  Hopefully you still have your save the date cards that were mailed out to you at the beginning of the school year.  Flip it over and you’ll find all the PTF activities to look forward to starting in January.  Details for the next PTF evening social will be sent to you soon.  We hope to see lots of new and old faces at this fun event.  The Variety Show will also come up fast on the calendar. Watch for details on that as well!

On Behalf of all of the PTF Officers, we thank you for your participation in the various activities & service projects we’ve hosted.  We hope you have a Very Merry Christmas and find many blessings to you and your families as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!
