Mr. Jacob Allee
Mr. Jacob Allee teaches Upper School Logic and Bible. Prior to joining the CSW staff, Mr. Allee spent approximately a decade in associate pastoral ministry where he worked with teen and discipleship ministries. He taught in a classical school for the first time in 2015.
Mr. Allee received his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Apologetics from Luther Rice University, earned his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Piedmont International University and is working to finish a Ph.D. in Humanities from Faulkner University’s Great Books Honors College. His dissertation is “A Christian Philosophy of Forms, Universals and Abstract Objects.”
Mr. Allee and his wife, Susan, have four children — Titus, Zoe, Callan and Gwendolen. The family recently relocated from Texas, though Mr. Allee is a Kansas native.
Mr. Allee is a true believer in classical education, and found himself drawn to teaching as a way to minister to young men and women. He was significantly influenced by his own youth minister, and wanted to impact others for Christ in the same way.
When he is not teaching, Mr. Allee finds joy in his family, C.S. Lewis literature and archery. He is inspired by great stories about other worlds, heroes and epic adventures. “All of the struggle —good vs. evil — it personifies the real struggle we have as everyday Christians,” he said.
Finally, Mr. Allee seeks to remind his students of the following: “Never be afraid to seek the true, the good and the beautiful. These are just more names for Christ.”
