Mr. Ben Zickafoose, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Ben Zickafoose is the Chief Operating Officer of CSW. He brings extensive administration experience to the position having served in leadership positions in the non-profit sector for the last 15 years. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Carpenter Place.

Mr. Zickafoose holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Industry Management, and a master’s degree in Athletic Administration and Coaching, both from Ohio University -Athens. He also has certification in Trust-Based Relational Intervention from Karen Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University.

He and his wife, Kendra, who teaches first grade at CSW, have four children — Emma (CSW graduate), and Kate, Jack and Luke who currently attend CSW — and a rambunctious Golden Retriever, Mac. The Zickafooses attend City Life Church.

Mr. Zickafoose says he was drawn to CSW by the impact the school first had on his own kids and their love for God and others.

“The spiritual, emotional and relational development that has occurred with our children since our initial experience at CSW is simply amazing. My goal is to pour into the children I get to serve in the same way that the teachers have committed to care for my kids.”

He does this by intentionally interacting with CSW students, serving as the upper school PE teacher and as an assistant coach for the varsity boys basketball team.

“Through God’s blessing I am able to see my role at CSW as a culmination of all my previous experiences,” he says. “To be able to combine both of these passions I have into one role at CSW is so exciting!”
