Mrs. Kendra Zickafoose
Mrs. Kendra Zickafoose teaches First Grade. Prior to joining the faculty at CSW, she served in a leadership role alongside her husband, Ben, at Carpenter Place. She studied psychology and child and family development at Texas A&M University.
She and Ben, who serves as COO at CSW, have four children — Emma (CSW graduate), and Kate, Jack and Luke who currently attend CSW — and a rambunctious Golden Retriever, Mac. Mrs. Zickafoose and her family attend City Life Church.
In her spare time, she loves to read (biographies are her favorite), write, decorate and travel.
Mrs. Zickafoose finds inspiration in God’s word, a really great book, and, unsurprisingly, the wonder of children! Her love of the Lord and the children she teaches is evident in all she does. She says she appreciates that Classical education, in particular, “deals with the child as a whole being and provides them with a moral framework from which they can pull for the rest of their lives.”
In her role at CSW, she says she is honored to combine all her loves into Kingdom work.
“My favorite thing about teaching is getting to play a small part in the story of each child’s life.”
