Mrs. Naphtali Garfield
Mrs. Naphtali Garfield is in her first year at CSW, where she teaches First Grade. Prior to joining the CSW family, she taught at Grace Classical Academy.
Mrs. Garfield attended New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho. She later taught Grammar School for five years at Grace Classical Academy. During her tenure at GCA, Mrs. Garfield taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, Third Grade and Fifth Grade, as well as Latin and Geometry.
Mrs. Garfield and her husband, Seth, have two children — Amara, 7, and Clark, 3 — and a black lab named Lily. Amara is in second grade at CSW, but sweet Lily stays home, keeping watch over the house while the family is away.
In her spare time, Mrs. Garfield loves to travel, water ski and play violin in a quartet. She also loves to read. Some of her favorite books include Pride and Prejudice, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis and Orthodoxy by G. K. Chesterton.
On a daily basis, Mrs. Garfield finds joy in the classroom as she builds relationships with her students. She finds inspiration in “laboring and fellowshipping with a community of like-minded believers to glorify God.”
