Mrs. Rachel Branam
Mrs. Rachel Branam is an afternoon kindergarten teacher and the after-school program coordinator at CSW. She has an Associate of Arts from Tabor College, and an Associate of Applied Science as an occupational therapy assistant from Metropolitan Community College — Penn Valley. She has been a CSW parent and volunteer for the last 12 years.
She and her husband, Nick, have three children at CSW — Collin, Adah, and Alayna. Their oldest son, Isaac, graduated from CSW in 2022. The Branams also have a dog, Tillie, who keeps them all in line.
Mrs. Branam is an active member at First Mennonite Brethern Church and enjoys baking, landscaping, and traveling with her family. She is inspired by God’s creation, and loves the mountains, ocean, and the changing seasons.
One of the elements of classical education that most appeals to Mrs. Branam is the way Bible and history are intertwined in a beautiful timeline. She also says she is impressed by the skills students acquire enabling them to think clearly and articulate persuasively.
Mrs. Branam says she is excited to serve the CSW community through the after-school program.
“My position is a new one but I believe it will be fun getting to know some of our younger families and fill a need for after-school care,” she says.
