Mrs. Karen Snow

Mrs. Karen Snow teaches first grade. Prior to joining the CSW family, she taught second grade and later served her family as a homeschool mom. Mrs. Snow earned her Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Bethel College.

Mrs. Snow and her husband both grew up in Connecticut but moved to Kansas to raise their family. Her husband, David, passed away in 2004 from esophageal cancer, but the Lord has been faithful and mighty in caring for Mrs. Snow and their grown children: Dan, Rebecca, Bethany, and Hannah. She attends Northside Bible Chapel in Kechi and is involved in the Awana program, as well as an after-school Good News Club at Earhart Elementary School.

Mrs. Snow appreciates the enthusiastic and encouraging environment at CSW and the manner in which the staff models love for God, love for each other and love of learning.

“I love to see the light go on when a new concept is grasped; I love to see children delight in excellent literature or the complexity of creation; I love to see when a child begins to learn a great truth about God or makes a wise choice at a young age and demonstrates kindness or perseverance or honesty,” she says.
